This is a correct 1966 GT Fastback 289 A code with a factory 4-speed gearbox and standard interior. It also features a gorgeous candy apple red paint.
According to the owner Mark Thomas, this was a Father/Son project. The car sat in a small shed since the early 80’s, so he and his father literally dig out the door just to open it. They bought this amazing 1966 GT in 2007, and completely restored.
Mark and his dad worked hard for about a year and a half to restore it, but this past spring Mark was rear ended coming home from a car show, so the car was restored once again.
“This is my dream car for life. I love working in the garage with my Dad,” said Mark exclusively for our website car24news.
