Cadillac at the Auto Show which takes place in Los Angeles presented the 2015 ATS-VR which production will begin next year. ATS-VR will feature aerodynamic chassis which includes a new front part, front splitter made of carbon fiber and other components made of the same material, including side additions and the rear wing, and the layout is further complemented by a set of 18 “BBS wheels on which are mounted a racing tires.
Under the hood is 3.6-liter bi-turbo V6 engine with BorgWarner turbochargers, greater capacity intercoolers, the intake system who is also made of carbon fiber. Cadillac ATS-VR Racer also features Brembo brakes, a safety cage and the adaptive traction system, and there is a limited slip differential and Xtrac six-speed sequential transmission. Thanks to these modifications, the engine develops up to 600 hp power and 704 Nm of torque.
