2018 Ford Focus RS Will Start At $41,995

In order to celebrate the end of production of the current model, Ford will offer a limited edition 2018 Focus RS, which will be getting a $5,000 price increase over the 2017 RS.
According to CarsDirect the 2018 model will cost $41,995, which is a substantial $5,000 increase over the 2017 Focus RS. However, a closer look reveals that buyers will be getting a number of extra features that help justify the increase. The 2018 Focus RS will come with a slightly revised exterior that includes gloss black mirror caps, a gloss black roof and a and 19-inch forged alloy wheels with blue center caps.
The interior is clearly upgraded. The 2018 RS features leather / suede microfiber Recaro sport seats, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, an eight-way power driver’s seat and additional carbon fiber trim.
Under the hood will be the same 2.3-liter EcoBoost unit that generates 350 hp (261 kW) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque. The engine is backed by a six-speed manual transmission which sends power to an all-wheel drive system through a new limited-slip differential. That’s good enough to propel the Focus RS from an idle position to 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds.
Ford will kick off production of the 2018 model this summer and only 1,000 units will be offered in the United States and 500 more of them for Canada. Customer deliveries should begin later this year, while the official confirmation of the price we will get closer to the launch.
