Subaru introduced 2018 Forester Black Edition
Subaru has introduced the new Forester Black Edition and confirmed starting price for the 2018 Forester.
The Forester Black Edition is exclusively available on the Forester 2.5i Premium trim as a $1,150 option package and comes standard with X-Mode and Hill Descent Control and LED Steering Responsive Headlights. Visually, the Black Edition features a modestly revised exterior with black fog light surrounds and a unique front grille with blacked-out wing motif and chrome frame. The special edition also boasts black finish exterior badges and mirrors as well as 18-inch black alloy wheels. Four different colors will be available, including Crystal Black Silica, Crystal White Pearl and All-Weather package Dark Gray Metallic, and Ice Silver Metallic. The welcome lighting, rear cargo tray and All-Weather package come standard with the Black Edition.
The interior is also upgraded. The special edition features exclusive black cloth upholstery seats with simulated leather bolsters, which are complimented by a silver metallic and black gloss finish center dash panel. The leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift handle are highlighted with silver stitching and the interior door handles have a chrome finish.
Beneath the skin, the model is powered by an 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine connected to a Lineartronic CVT gearbox. The unit generates 170 hp and 174 lb-ft (235 Nm) of torque.
In addition, Subaru has also announced that 2018 Forester will be priced from $22,795 and will arrive into retailers summer 2017.
