The 2018 Ford Mustang Has a Unique New Feature

While we are waiting the updated 2018 Mustang to arrive on the market,  the Blue Oval continues to highlight pony car’s the most important improvements. One of them is the new start button that beats 30 times per minute, just like the heart of a resting pony.
When the door is unlocked and until the powerful engine is started, the start button pulses red. However, not at just any rate, but it will have pulse at the rate of 30 beats per minute, mirroring the resting heart rate of a pony. Located on the lower driver’s side of the center stack below the audio system and climate controls, the button is encased in a spun aluminum ring, while on the backlit the words “Engine,” “Start” and “Stop” glow red.
Among many other updates on the new Mustang will be and an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission, a 12-inch all-digital, customizable instrument cluster, and a redesigned front and rear end that gives the Mustang a leaner, more athletic appearance.
Regarding the powertrains, customers will be able to choose between two options, a 2.3-liter EcoBoost and 5.0-liter V8 unit. The sales of the refreshed 2018 Mustang will start this fall and the pricing will be available closer to market launch.
