Volvo has revealed the details of its plan to increase sales in the United States, which includes refreshments complete the model’s offer in the next five years, greater focus on dealer network, a new managerial team and increased spending on marketing. The medium-term plan is selling more than 100,000 vehicles per year. Volvo is its new plan for the US market symbolically presented at the Auto Show in Los Angeles, where he introduced a brand new SUV model XC90, and the new V60 Cross Country model. It is visually striking, high-quality premium SUV with seven seats which offers superior security features, modern drive technology and uncompromising combination of power and efficiency. The new XC90 marks a new chapter in the history of the Volvo, because it represents a new design language and technological advantages of the new SPA platform.
World premiere of the Volvo V60 Cross Country in Los Angeles
At the Auto Show in Los Angeles Volvo presented the highly anticipated Cross Country V60 version. Compared to the standard V60, Cross Country version features the increased ground clearance of 65 mm. Equipped with the large 18-inch or 19-inch wheels and high profile tires, which, along with the inevitable aesthetic accessories, offers comfort and undisturbed overcoming both high sidewalks, and gravel roads. V60 Cross Country first arrives in the United States and Canada, where it will be available with the well-known five-cylinder petrol engine with 250 hp, paired with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. In the rest of the world, in early 2015, V60 Cross Country will be available with the new Drive-E four cylinder petrol and diesel engines, which will drive the front wheels, while the five-D4 diesel engine to run to run all four wheels. The Cross Country brand has a long and prominent heritage.
